Walking the Prevention Circle is a violence prevention programme from the Canadian Red Cross, developed in partnership with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. The programme focuses on preventing violence against children and youth by helping communities recognize risks, take action, and respond effectively. It respects historical context, encourages open dialogue, and trains local educators to deliver the programme within their own communities. The approach is community-led and incorporates Indigenous knowledge and traditional practices wherever possible.
